David and Michelle have been friends of mine for a long time now and you may have seen their newest addition to the family, Riley, a few weeks ago in another post. Last weekend Carly and I spent the day at Roswell Park with the McGinnis trio and topped the afternoon off with a fantastic home cooked barbeque. I have plenty of amazing shots from the day of their adorable baby girl but I'm going to save those for another day... So for now, here's the whole family!
I think its only fair that while I'm on a posting spree my first wedding post should actually be the first wedding that I shot as a professional. This is Susan and Greg Twadell and they were married on April 12, 2008 at Brasstown Valley Resort.

This shoot was one of my favorite and let me tell you why. First, there is something satisfying about being able to make your best friend's younger brother feel awkward by making him do one or two ridiculous poses just for the sake of seeing if he'll do it. They actually turned out to be some pretty funny shots but for Joe's sake, you will not see them here. The second reason I loved this shoot was because Joe was willing to find out how safe a building at one of my favorite photo spots was to stand on... (you'll know what I mean when you see it) So Joe, thank you for being a good sport and for being willing to test the structural integrity of old rusty buildings..
