Corey Boone

Let me start by saying that I cannot believe that It has taken me until September to get these pictures up on the blog. Sometime back in January with a late last minute phone call to a friend of mine, I was able to convince corey to come out for a late night photo shoot just because I wanted to try a few things. He generously accepted so I did what any grateful photographer would do with a subject, drag them around to freeze in the cold air and get kicked out of a few parking lots by a rent-a-cop! Corey was a good sport and I'm thankful he helped me out, here are some of my faves.

Riley McGinnis

Riley Reese McGinnis was born on March 30th, 2009 and she is beautiful! Its funny how when your friends start having children because it really makes you see how fast your life can flash by. Now, I'm in no rush to have kids anytime soon but I hope that when it does come time, Carly and I are half as excited as David and Michelle are over their baby girl. Here she is.

My Best Friend Got Engaged!

Its not every day that your best friend gets engaged but fortunately for me, today was one of those days! Through some careful planning and several secret phone calls JB dropped his ideas on me and we came up with a plan that I would say went pretty flawless for his proposal. Not to mention there was a spectacular summer lightning storm over the city tonight... Some of you might make fun of me for saying this, but my favorite part of the whole experience was drawing up the map I had to give to JB so I could actually take pictures for him! I'm lame, I know, but whatever, I had fun and my best friend is engaged! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

After Midnight Project

At the end of last month I got to give back to the radio station that has given me so much over the years... 99x was hosting a Live X recording session for a band that if you haven't heard of yet, you will know there name very soon, After Midnight Project. Let me tell you something, these guys put on such a good performance, they rocked the 99x studio, they rocked Rio Grande Buckhead later that night, and again they rocked Warped Tour the next day. Yes I saw them perform live 3 times in about 24 hours... What can I say, I thought they were good. I'll have more pics of these guys and the Rest of Warped Tour soon!
